Meet Roo!

Are you a teacher curious about incorporating AI tools into your classroom?

Let’s leap into the Roo method – a simple approach to get started:

 ✅  Hi I’m Roo.

What is the Roo Method?: The ‘Roo’ Method is an easy to follow approach to integrate AI into your classroom. The easy to remember acronym stands for: Research, Observe, Operate.

Using the Roo method  Research, Observe, Operate – I’ll guide you through the process of integrating AI tools into your classroom.

Let’s dive in and see how Roo can help you hop on board the AI train!😊

How to Integrate AI?

Step 1: Research (R)

  • Explore available AI tools: Browse online platforms, educational blogs, and forums to discover a variety of AI tools designed for educators.
  • Assess compatibility: Evaluate each tool’s compatibility with your teaching style, subject matter, and classroom environment.
  • Review user feedback: Read reviews and testimonials from other educators who have used these AI tools to gain insights into their effectiveness and usability.

Step 2: Observe & Optimize (O)

  • Attend demonstrations: Participate in workshops or webinars hosted by AI tool providers to see the tools in action and ask questions.
  • Shadow peers: Observe how other teachers incorporate AI tools into their lessons and interact with students.
  • Monitor student engagement: Pay attention to how students respond to AI-integrated activities and identify any challenges or opportunities for improvement.

Step 3: Operate (O)

  • Start small: Choose one or two AI tools that align with your teaching goals and objectives.
  • Experiment gradually: Integrate the selected AI tools into your lesson plans and activities in a phased approach.
  • Collect feedback: Gather feedback from students, colleagues, and administrators to assess the impact of the AI tools on teaching and learning outcomes.

By following the Roo method – Research, Observe, Operate – you can gradually and effectively integrate educational AI tools into your teaching practice!
